MILLS DUTY, forwardly placed from the beginning while under restraint, moved up readily on the final turn, disposed of TRIBAL II. in the drive and drew clear. TRIBAL II., under steadying restraint while close to the pace, disposed of SEALANE to draw clear in Ihe stretch, but could not resist the winner. CHARIVARI, never far back, finished strongly between horses. TED CHAR was slow to settle into stride, then finished with a rush between horses. NO MELODY V?A..Mr,y a"d closed some ground in the late stages. BAUMBACH was unable to improve his position. SEALANE raced close to the early pace, took a short lead on the final turn, but flattened out. TRIM STEPPER was sent into the lead early, but quit when challenged. KINGS FEAST lacked early speed, swung wide entering the stretch and closed with a rush on the outside. DEANNA had speed to outrun the fiedl and take a clear lead, when slightly wide entering the stretch and held on well. ARIANZA was unable to engage the leaders. COSSACK BpY trailed to the last stretch and passed tired horses to finish in a dead-heat for fifth with B NINETEEN. The latter raced forwardly while on the outside, but weakened badly to finish in a dead-heat for fifth with COSSACK BOY. BOLO GERT was sent into a clear lead on the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, met the bid of the winner stubbornly and held on well. GINNYS PRIDE lacked early speed, secured room on the inside to save ground entering the stretch, but hung. WHIMSICAL LADY raced evenly, but went quite wide entering the stretch. The latter trailed the field to the stretch turn, secured room on the inside to save ground and reach closer contention, then finished boldly, but just failed to get up. FLORAL TRAIL, fastest away, was sent clear, was steadied in front, was brushed by the winner in the stretch and gave way gradually PLAY AGAIN raced evenly, made a mild bid in the stretch, but was unable to threaten. MISS BUSYBEE, sluggish while trailing to the final turn, made up some ground in the drive. WOW was under restraint until reaching the far turn, challenged strongly around the final turn, but weakened. LOST AND FOUND had some early speed while on the outside, but flattened out when called upon. FEDERAL AGENT fell back steadily. OLD BET showed nothing.
