Warmonger Tops Entries For Eastern Shore Event Havre de Grace Juvenile Stake Draws Forty-Seven Nominations HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., June 29. Walter M. Jeffords Warmonger, a son of Teddys Comet and War Hysteria, who set a track record first time out at the Havre de Grace Spring meeting, will be back for the Summer session which begins July 6. Warmonger is among the eligibles for the Eastern Shore Stakes, five and one-half furlong test for two-year-olds which will be the headline attraction here on Saturday, July 10. Warmonger made his racing debut over the local course on April 17 and ran four furlongs in :46 to establish a track standard for that distance. The Jeffords representative is just one of many promising juveniles who have been named for the Eastern Shore and there is every indication that a large and well-matched band will parade postward in the stake. While the number of nominees, forty-seven, is smaller than in some previous years, most of the stables naming their juveniles to the stake are planning to campaign at the Summer meeting and a much larger percentage of the eligibles may be expected to respond when the entries close. The Eastern Shore carries an endowment of ,500. Following are the nominees: Alan C.
