Bull Moose Offspring Annex First Three Places in Race CHARLES TOWN, W. Va., June 29. Because the majority of horses competing at smaller tracks are representatives of diverse stallions, seldom is it that a sire has more than one offspring in a race. But today, at this Shenandoah Valley course, the local progenitor, Bull Moose, was represented by the winner, the runner-up and the third place horses in the first event, and, to make the oddity more complete, the first two. Some Moose and Big Moose, were bred by Harry B. Langdon. Cedar Bunnie was bred by J. K. Fockler of Ha-gerstown, Md. Bull Moose is owned by Langdon and is featured at stud at the latters farm, no farther than a stones throw from this track. Some Moose, heroine of the "about four and one-half furlongs" first race, is owned by Langdon. She brought about an 1.40 pay-off and was timed the sprint in :50 "over a track classified as "good."
