FLORIA was taken ud sharply when in tight quarters leaving the half-mile pole, swung to the outside while endeavoring to improve position entering the stretch, but was unable to menace the leaders. FLEETY QUEEN had qood speed from the start, saved ground to wrest the lead at the half-mile pole and held on well to the stretch then gave way steadily. SILKANDSATIN was unable to menace the leaders in the drive. BANGOR CHANCE lacked early speed and improved position between horses in the final quarter. AIRSIS loomed a stout factor while rallying on the inside nearing the stretch, but gave way badly in the final furlong. NATCH was prominently prominently placed to the stretch, then tired.
