JACK MADIGAN- assumed command soon after the start, was taken under light restraint after drawing clear, shook off the bid of MIXER on the final turn and drew out at the end. MIXER slipped through on the inside to draw abreast the leader, then faltered. HANDSOME BILL was forwardly placed throughout and had no mishap. CLEAN JOB moved into contention after a quarter mile, then failed to make up appreciable ground. JOPIER broke slowly and was unable to reach the leaders. PATCH BUCK raced evenly. LUMPKIN had no mishap. IRISH COUNT flashed brief early speed. HADATICKLE was unable to keep up. The others were outrun. Won driving; second and third the same.- MISS CLARA showed good speed from the outset, wrested the lead from BOHEMIA BID nearing the furlong pole and withstood the sustained drive of MISS OBEHAN. The latter improved position gradually on the extreme outside to extend the winner in the final sixteenth. BOHEMIA BID set a rapid pace, then held on gamely after relinquishing command. CUBAN BOMB raced with the leaders from the start and had no mishap. ARTHOA saved ground to better position. RAPATELLE passed tiring horses. JAYLCEE was unable to reach serious contention. DUKES GAL assumed command by slipping through on the inside entering the far turn, drew out steadily, swerved slightly nearing the furlong pole and continued on gamely under a drive. BLENGO, off slowly, moved rapidly on the outside and finished with a late rush. ESTA VEZ, slow to settle into best stride, came between horses in the stretch and closed strongly. APPLE RIVER saved ground to better position. JET STAR rushed boldly on the turn, then flattened out. FIGHTING LOUIE forced the pace, tried to move on the inside of the leader entering the stretch, then quit. BOLO RUNAWAY flashed early speed. PRINCESS CARRY went evenly. DARLINFLAR showed nothing. PILOT MAN, slow to settle into best stride, moved ino contention readily and finished with good energy. BUSTER HOPE outran the field to open a clear lead in the first quarter, was unable to match strides when challenged by the winner, then weakened. LIZA LEE went evenly and had no mishap. GILDED CAGE made up ground in the late stages. INVITATION was never prominent. BOBALEE flashed brief speed. LUSMORES showed nothing. The others were outrun. DOBODURA, unable to rush with the early leaders, slipped through on the inside, but was not good enough. BRASSY LIE had no mishap. LADY CARRIE, well up for a half mile, went wide on the final turn. RINALDO gained command entering the backstretch, was sent along at a rapid pace, came out at the final turn when challenged, then held on gamely after giving way. SHADOW SHOT, outrun to the final quarter, closed strongly between horses. ARCHER showed a good effort. IRISH PENNANT closed willingly under pressure. GAY DATE went evenly. STEPPING MISS, a forward factor, was caught in close quarters while tiring in the late stretch. TENNESSEE KID had no mishap. CHANCE PLAYER rushed boldly after a quarter, reached a contending positicn.Mhen flattened out. The others were outrun. GLENWOOD BOY, outrun to the final quarter, finished with a belated rush on the inside. AUTOMATON closed willingly. LOSTAHAT improved position steadily along the inside, was unable to secure racing room on the final turn, then weakened. WILL MARKHAM rushed boldly on the outside, but faltered at the end. DEVILS GUIDE went evenly. PARK HEIGHTS quit. TED MOSQUERO showed a dull effort. HUSTLING DOM was through early. JOHNSTOWN KID was rushed into contention early, then flattened -out.
