Agree to Dead Heat MIAMI, Fla., June 29. The courts and attorneys ruled for a dead heat in a case that has been hanging fire for 16 months. According to the record, John A. Barbara brought two 00 tickets on the horse Buds First to place in the eighth race at Hia-leah Park, February 28, 1947. Shortly after Buds First had finished second, Barbara notified the tracks mutuel department that he had lost the tickets. The next day Albert Barrasso presented the tickets f6r payment. It was refused. Barasso filed suit against the track, which asked the Circuit Court to take the ,090 and decide who was entitled to it.. The case was dragged along until the principals agreed today to divide the money.
