ENGAGED raced evenly to the stretch saved ground during the drive and, after disposing of the leaders, won going away. MUSICIAN, a keen factor from the start, bore out through the stretch, forced DOLLYS IMAGE wide, then was unable to w.th-stand the top one KEEP MOVING, forwardly placed from the start, reached the lead between calls nearing the finish but could not retain the advantage while under strong handling. DOLLYS IMAGE, much used engaging MUSICIAN was carried out by the latter during the drive and could not threaten when finally clear HIGH RfKS hore in durina the entire trip AMACHANCF showed nothing. SULTANESS had early foot, but failed to ? stay OUR FREEDOM WAS INJURED WHILE IN THE STARTING 6ATE, WAS ORDERED WITHDRAWN FROM THE RACE AND ALL WAGERS ON HIM WERE REFUNDED. COLORADO MISS, outrun to the ■ stretch was sent between horses at the final turn and, responding to punishment, wore down the leaders and H was up in the last strides. SHOGOIN raced ALPHAS CHOICE into defeat entering the stretch, established a clear lead during the drive, but faltered near the finish and could not hold the top one. THAT AINf HAY J moved up fast after starting in a tangle, went wide during the stretch run and could not overtake the leaders when straightened up VENTURESS lacked early speed, but finished fast. MINNESINGER made a good bid when set down through the stretch; ALPHAS CHOICE began fast, engaged SHOGOIN to the stretch, then „n weakened POPLAR STREET was never a serious factor. TITLED MISS could not keep up. HAY ELSIE broke :,? sluggishly and was far back throughout. HAPPY LEE raced on the outside the entire trip. SKY TIGER saved ground throughout, made a good bid during ng the stretch run but could not overtake the leaders. ENTHUSED lacked early speed and was never dangerous. "esd SUNNY DEUCE reached the lead after racing LACUNA into defeat, then tired badly. LACUNA was hustled to the front early, made the pace to the stretch, but had nothing left for the drive. BOURBON BLAZE was hustled into an early lead, made the pace to the last eighth while engaging CREEP MOUSIE, then faltered. SONNY M. raced evenly and had no mishap.
