Ship C. V. Whitney Stable East CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 8. — Sylvester Veitch, who conditions the Cornelius V. Whitney Stable thoroughbreds, announced that his unit is to be shipped to New York on Wednesday. Along with the local division, which includes the Blue Grass Stakes victory, Mameluke, and Counterpoint, Kentucky Derby starters, Veitch will pick up several more horses at Lexington and they also will be sent east for campaigning on Metropolitan circuit tracks.
