Former Jockey Paul Miller Seriously Wounded in Korea GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 8. — Former jockey Paul Miller, remembered for his rides as an apprentice boy for C. V. Whitney and Andy Schut-tinger throughout the eastern seaboard in in 1944 and 1945, was severely wounded while on duty with the Army in Korea. The full extent of Millers injuries is not known, but he is reported to have suffered shrapnel head wounds. Miller is aboard a Swedish hospital ship tied up in Korea, where he is progressing satisfactorily. It is believed, however, that he may have lost the hearing in one ear. Millers wife and parents are residing in Asbury Park, N. J., where Mrs. Miller is expecting.
