1 River Downs Officials Begin ! Accepting Stall Reservations ■ CINCINNATI, Ohio, May 8.— Henry | Green, director of racing at River Downs, arrived in the Queen City and immediately plunged into the task of preparing for the j 44-day meeting scheduled to open Memor- s ial Day. He announced that offices of the t River Downs track will be open daily from r. now on and reservations can be made by j phoning or calling at their Gibson-Shera- ] ton headquarters. £ Green also announced that more than c 100 applications for stalls have been ap- ] proved and judging from the caliber of the I stables, many top horses will be seen performing at the beautiful Ohio River track. - Following a visit to the course, Green was highly pleased with the looks of the 1 plant and the many improvements made r. since the close of the 1950 meeting.
