Five feminine riders have been named to oppose Miss Davis in the mile and a sixteenth race, for which there will be trophies the successful rider and owner. Misses Joyce Goldschmidt, Betty Bosley, Judy Johnson and Phyllis Lose along with Mrs. Charles Lewis are the other entrants in the ladies race. For Miss Davis and Miss Goldschmidt, will be a renewal of an old rivalry for former defeated Miss Goldschmidt by a length in a special match at Agua Caliente, where Miss Davis first gained fame by defeating jockeys Johnny Longden Jack Westrope in special events.
