JNITED PRESS 1 NEWS BRIEFS Says Iran Crisis Worse LONDON, England, June 26. — Foreign Secretary Herbert Morrison announced in the House of Commons today that the Iranian oil crisis had taken a "very serious" turn for the worse. He said a British cruiser had been sent to the vicinity of the Iranian oil port of Abadan. Special on Session Today UNITED NATIONS, N. Y., June 26.— Russias proposal for a Korean cease-fire will come before a special session of the UN General Assembly tomorrow afternoon, UN Secretary-General Trygve Lie announced today. Lie made the announcement in Oslo, Norway, before departing by air for New York to participate in peace negotiations. He will arrive here at 7 a. m. EDT tomorrow. Demand Death Penalty BUDAPEST, Hungary, June 26. — The prosecution today demanded the "severest punishment" — the death penalty — for Archbishop Josef Groesz, Roman Catholic Primate of Hungary, on charges of conspiring to overthrow Hungarys Communist government. Labor Newspaper Planned PITTSBURGH, Pa., June 26.— Samuel B. Eubanks, retiring executive vice-president of the CIO American Newspaper Guild, revealed plans today for the establishment of a national daily labor newspaper. Addressing 230 delegates to the eighteenth annual ANG convention now in session here, Eubanks said the idea for such a publication was conceived in Pittsburgh last fall.
