GEORGE COLLINS improved position early, assumed command before a half mile and increased margin easily. BAYAL, forwardly placed along the inside, was no match for the winner. FETICHIST worked her way up on the autside to close with good energy. MONKROSE, sluggish at the start, failed to enter serious contention. AL BATTEN had no mishap. GLORY LAR drove within striking distance of the leaders on the final turn, then flattened out. MISTFLOWER broke slowly and was never prominent. HASH KNIFE was unable to keep up. FILLE DE SEPT quit. CHUBBY BOSS forced the pace, gained a slight advantage inside the final sixteenth, then faltered. HIKIE DIKIE, a forward factor on the outside, lacked a late rally. JACOS BOY rushed boldly on the far turn, engaged for command, then flattened out. SHOPPING SPREE drew clear soon after the start and set the pace for seven furlongs before weakening. MODEL HOME had no mishap. PROBOSCIS closed with a belated rush. OUTBIRD lacked a rally. FORTNIGHT weakened when put to pressure. The others were outrun. INDIAN FLOWER forced the pace, was unable to gain the lead and weakened near the end. HATTER WAR assumed command at once, gave way after a quarter mile and weakened. ANGEL FOOD had no mishap. RUNNING STITCH was unable to keep up. BILLY BUNTING moved menacingly on the outside, then hung LAST LAP broke sluggishly. JOE TOWN was never prominent. REALTOR, forwardly placed under steadying restraint, was forced to take up when caught behind a slight jam on the turn, came to the inside when set down and closed with good energy. GOLDEN MEAN closed well from off the pace. JOES GAL set the pace for a half mile, then weakened. , SASSYS KING was put to pressure early, neared the leader, was shuffled back and failed to recover. FIGHTING BACK, slow to settle into best stride, was sent to the outside while making up ground, responded strongly in the late stretch and was along to defeat QUESTAGAIN. The latter forced the pace to the stretch, assumed command, but was not good enough. COLLEGE QUEEN assumed command at once, increased margin after three furlongs, drifted out on the final turn and tired. WAR TOKEN rallied mildlv when put to pressure. FERN GOLD weakened after nearing contention. SONNY STIEFEL went well for a half mile, then flattened out. BLACK BID ran up on the heels of horses in the stretch and had to be taken up. HOMING PIGEON, forwardly placed under steadying restraint, moved to the outside for the drive, but was unable to menace. REIGH JANE rushed boldly to near contention, then hung. MON TORCH, allowed to drop far off the pace made up ground when set down. SAGENESS flattened out after a brief challenge. BOBS ACE was never prominent. DARING MATE was outrun.
