Fighting Back Finishes Fast To Gain Suffolk Downs Tally SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., June 26. — Murlogg Farms Fighting Back, a stretch-running son of Fighting Fox — Stepinanna responded gallantly to the efforts of apprentice Ralph Borgemenke and gained a length decision on the featured New Centre Purse at Suffolk Downs this afternoon. A length back of the winner, C. Arras Questagain was second, a neck before Mrs. J. Kelleys College Queen, Anthony Cataldo War Token was fourth in the field of 10 starters. Ideal racing weather prevailed here today, attracting 9,025 patrons. After Professor Joe won the second race in the role of favorite, the fans had to wait until Fighting Backs score for another choice to become successful. The Murlogg colt paid .80 and was timed a respectable 1:11% for the six furlongs over the fast racing strip.
