Hurdle Event at Arlington ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., June 26.— The first hurdle race to be offered in the Chicago area in more than two decades will be contested at Arlington Park on Friday. This will be a test at one mile over the turf course and is sponsored by the Hunts Racing Association. About 10 entrants for the affair are expected. The race is open to gentlemen and journeymen riders. It will be part of a nine-race program and will have mutuel wagering.
