Dies After Running in Race RIVER DOWNS, California, Ohio, June 26. — Duck Marsh, the six-year-old brown gelding, owned by Ewan and Bright, dropped dead here Saturday evening. The son of Grand Slam, who competed in the ninth and final race on Saturdays program, showed lots of speed and forced the pace in the race about seven furlongs then tired badly and wound up sixth. After the race he was unsaddled and was being led back to the barn when he keeled over and died.
