Long Bow Back in Training; Works Over Belmont Strip AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 26.— King Ranchs homebred three-year-old, Long Bow, has been placed in training again by Max Hirsch and the veteran conditioner asked the well regarded sophomore to go six furlongs this morning. The trial was* over the main track at Belmont Park. Long Bow, a bay son of Heliopolis — New Weapon., covered the distance in 1:20 and was going at a clip just a trifle better than an open gallop. J A winner in his only two starts last yearl Long Bow was brought up early this sprina with sights set on the Kentucky Derby bu| in two appearances under silks at Jamaica he failed to perform to expectations, which prompted Hirsch to give the colt a rest.
