Underwood Sells Briar Path; Will Offer Homebreds Later MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J.t ., June 26. — Hugh C. Goff, master of Puckety y Farm, today reported that Howard G. Underwood - of Dearborn Farm, Lexington, i, Ky., has sold the two-year-old bay filly, Briar Path, a daughter of Eternal Bull — - Miss Rabbitt. to Mrs. D. Rebman of Lorraine, - Ohio, for an undisclosed sum. Underwood will have 40 yearlings in n training at Hamburg Place, the famous s Madden Farm which produced five Kentucky - Derby winners. Ray Kindred is to be e in charge of breaking the youngsters. Underwood - has greatly expanded his thoroughbred - operations in the past year and d plans to sell all of the stock which are e homebred and raised. The stallion Skytracer has just completed - a full book for 1951 and will stand d at the old Madden farm for the 1952 season. There are 40 mares on the barn, under r lease. by Underwood.
