Illinois Notes ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., June 26. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Sher arrived from their home in Detroit to take in some racing. The Sher string here is in charge of trainer Milton Rieser. f Fred Curry, veteran trainer currently without horses, is a visitor from New Jersey. Clifford J. Martin, Jr., purchased Emory A. from his father for the account of his wife, Mrs. Joan Martin. Martin, Jr., also will take over the training of Brezno for C. Warning. Mrs. R. D. Jackson arrived from her Logan, HI., home to join her trainer husband. Concessionnaire Ben Koppel was an Arlington visitor en route to meet his partner, Joe Walkin, in Kentucky, where their organization will cater the Keeneland Summer Sales and the trotting races at Louisville. Jockey Anthony Skoronski has been engaged to ride Rockridge Farms Chiloe II. in the Stars and Stripes Handicap July 4. Latest additions to the barred list here are Miss O. J. B. and Miss Woodlawn. Harold White, acting for Shady Brook Farm, sold Tia, Kalispera, Diregente, and Bewilder to Mike Long, who will ship to Montreal for a Canadian campaign. Fred Wyse returned to his Houston, Texas, home after taking in several days of sport. Trainer Frank Kurinec has the Wyse horses in training here.
