LADY FINN assumed command soon after the start, drew clear after a half mile and lasted to hold FRAUD safe. The latter, sluggish in the early stages, moved up readily when roused, came around horses, then ducked to the inside near the end. HEAT LIGHTNING raced close to the pace along the inside and held on tenaciously. ZIPPY AIR showed a good effort. KEENO weakened after forcing the pace. INSINUATION had no mishap. CYCLIST showed nothing. COURT GRAND was in close quarters early. JAKABLOM was never prominent. CONTRARY JEAN was through early. TIGER M. tired. SABADO was outdistanced. SCIENTIST, slow to begin, was sent up fast along the inside, continued to gain rounding the turns, responded willingly to strong urging and drew clear at the end. SO WELL, in closest attendance of the pace, rallied when urged, but was not good enough . PSYCHOGENIC opened a long lead soon after the start, was kept in close on the turns, but shortened stride and was quitting at the end. TRIGGER HAPPY had no mishap. PACOL went evenly. The latter was on even terms for the lead under strong restraint from the beginning, then responded gamely under a drive. FRED G. alternated in setting the pace and saved ground, but weakened in the final furlong. CRACK THE WHIP made up ground near the end. ROSY SCENE lacked a rally. ANSWER MAN was unable to keep up. STAG, reserved close to the pace under steadying restraint, came to the inside when the leader drifted, gained a slight advantage and lasted over PLATTERETTE. -The latter improved position gradually on the extreme outside, rallying through the stretch and just missed. MILAN BOY was close up from the outset, came to the inside and was catching the leaders. WATCH UNION set the pace, drew clear after a half mile, drifted out and tired. NO SHO outrun the field to take a clear lead at once, increased his margin after six furlongs, came out to the middle of the track for the drive, and prevailed over PROVIDENT. The latter, slow to settle into best stride, slipped through along the rail entering the stretch and was catching the winner. ALAS rallied too late to reach the .leaders. WAR BLUES forced the early pace, was given a breather after six furlongs, responded when roused but was unable to menace. LUSMORES had no mishap. VINITA REV weakened. QUIZ ME was unable to keep up.
