ELGEOAN raced wide on the final turn and closed resolutely. WISE OSPREY raced wide most of the trip. LYDIA A. saved ground to no avail. CAR0L-R0U was unable to keep up. The others were outrun. The fog was dense from the three-furlong pcle to the quarter pole, making it impossible to distinguish silks in that area. MYSTIC GOLD came through a big opening entering the stretch, responded to energetic handling and was along to catch MONA LOU at the finish. The latter saved ground while enjoying a comfortable lead and just failed to last. SIGNARGIRL came out very wide entering the stretch and was unable to regain lost ground. EQUILLA raced wide through the stretch. The others were outrun. Due to the heavy fog, it was impossible to distinguish all the silks until horses were in the stretch. Continued on Pog* Forty-Firt
