Plans to Raise 00#000 For Indigent Turf Home Re-Elect All Officers, Directors Of The Jockey Club Foundation BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., - May 15. — Plans to raise an initial fund of : 00,000 and an annual operating fund of ■ , 00,000 for the maintenance of a home or homes for indigent turfmen were the principal ■ items of discussion at todays annual meeting of the directors of The Jockey Club 1 Foundation Home, Inc., at Belmont Park today. These plans were contained in the ! report of a special .committee headed by Dr. • Alexander P. Kaye and including, James I Butler. Marshall Cassidy, Irving Gushen I and J. Samuel Perlman. All officers and directors of The Jockey r Club Foundation. Inc., were re-elected. . George D. Widener, chairman of The Jockey r Club, continues to serve as president, while ; the vice-presidents are Ashley T. Cole, chairman of the N. Y. State Racing Commission; - Judge James E. Dooley, president t of Narragansett Park, and Robert O. Read, , national president of the Horsemens Benevolent ■ and Protective Association. The executive committee is composed of f George D. Widener, Ashley T. Cole. Irving ; Gushen, Judge James E. Dooley, J. Samuel 1 Perlman and Marshall Cassidy. The 15 directors - of the Foundation, representing all 1 phases of the racing world, are George D. . Widener. John A. Morris, Whitney Stone, , Harry F. Guggenheim, James Butler, Judge i James E.
