Beulah Park Sophomores j Hold Spotlight Today Coralies Girl May Prove Best In Six-Furlong Hayes Purse By H. J. McGUIRE Staff Correspondent BEULAH PARK. Grove City, Ohio, May 15. — Three - year - olds provide the feature race at this course tomorrow when eight of that age meet under allowance conditions in the Charles N. Hayes Purse. This is a dash of six furlongs and the conditions of the test brought together a group that should deliver an interesting contest. Heavy j rainfall overnight resulted in small fields in most of the nine events, but this should make for truly run races. Coralies Girl, who races for Mrs. J. L. and L. J. Knight, had a race over this course the other day, but that test can be discarded in the reckoning for the Saturday test. The daughter of Easy Mon was making her first appearance since October of 1952 and was meeting older horses. Against rivals of her own age she can be expected to show improvement. Her trials have been satisfactory and this could be the placing to provide her first victory of the season. Tee-Jay-M, who races for T. J. Midden-dorf , has given evidence of her present fitness and her fondness for this racing strip. She was winner here the other day of a six-furlong test while racing against opponents who carried ,000 claiming tags. D. G. Post has named Forever Talked to the feature and this son of Talked About is recommended by trials that attest his present condition.
