♦ Withers on TV and Radio NEW YORK, N. Y., May 15. — The National Broadcasting Company and the American Broadcasting Company again will team up tomorrow afternoon to bring the description of the Withers Mile from Belmont Park to a nationwide audience. Air time will run from 3:00 to 3:30 CDT with NBC channel 5 Chicago handling the television and ABC WLS, Chicago the radio coverage. Fred Capossela will call the race and Sammy Renick and Win Elliott will do the color. Another major eastern stake to be aired tomorrow will be the Baltimore Spring Handicap from Pimlico, which will be broadcast over the radio network facilities of the Columbia Broadcasting System from 3:45 to 4:00 p. m. CDT. Ray Haight will give the running description, with the color handled by Dave Woods and Charles Purcell.
