P. Jones; bred by P. H. Faulconer. REACHED POST— 5:16. OFF AT 5:16 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; seconds the sarfte. RAMP was well rated while setting the pace and increased his advantage under strong urging through the stretch. MARBLE HALL, hard held early, responded readily while moving into contention and would have been a more serious threat had he not lugged in through the stretch. TO CHALLENGE was always formidable and finished in a dead-heat with MARBLE HALL. TURKEY BOOTS dwelt at the start and made up ground in the late stages. SIR CHATTER gave way under pressure. FAR ECHO gave way badly. READY TO WEAR was never a threat. DIXIE PRINCE was outrun. Overweight— Ramp, 3 pounds; Sir Chatter, 2; Cubist, 2. Attendance, 9,571; Total Mutuel Pool, 49,189.
