OFF AT 2:07 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. TRIPLE FLIGHT was outrun for half the trip, then was steadily ridden to catch the early leaders nearing the stretch turn and, saving ground in the stretch while BLUE ROGUE was going wide, held the latter. BLUE ROGUE was badly outrun for a half mile, then moved on the outside nearing the stretch turn, but was forced very wide on the turn and was unable to get up, although finishing well. EMERY AL had speed from the start and raced GRAY COBBLER and LADY BUSTER into defeat, but weakened near the finish. GOLDY WISE went steadily. GRAY COBBLER quit badly after going five furlongs. PAJARA began slowly and was badly outrun for half the trip, then moved strongly on the backstretch and, coming to the outside on the stretch turn, raced very wide, but bested COCKOFTHEWALK in the drive. COCKOFTHEWALK was rated for five furlongs, then came steadily and was going well at the finish. IRISH HORN went to the front early and showed good speed for six furlongs, then weakened. FOXY STAR moved to contention on the backstretch and easily bested the others. LILS GADGET failed to threaten. UNDER PRESSURE lacked speed in a dull effort. YOUR LETTA was bumped rounding the first turn. VANTAGE was under restraint early and, moving steadily on the outside nearing the stretch turn, headed McGRATHIANA, then cut to the inside in the stretch when clear, but was all out at the finish to hold SEVENTH SUN. The latter was in close quarters trying to get through a narrow opening on the inside nearing the stretch turn and was eased back, then came to the outside in the stretch to finish well. His ,-ider claimed a foul against the winner and the claim was not allowed. McGRATHIANA set most of the early pace, but weakened in the stretch. BALSA was going fairly well at the finish.
