HBPA Thanks Garden State For Increasing Distribution GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 15. — John Machise, vice-president of the New Jersey division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association, and the committee unanimously voted today to thank publicly Eugene Mori and Walter H. Donovan, president and vice-president and general manager, respectively, of the Garden State Racing Association for voluntarily increasing purses ,000 per day at the Garden State track. Machise stated the recent boost in purse is another example of the amicable relations existing between the HBPA and Garden State Park.
