Nebraska Notes Ak-SAR-BEN. Omaha. Nebr., May 23. Ivan Thomas, director of racing at Centennial Race Course, who has been doing some missionary work at Ak-Sar-Ben for the Colorado meeting which opens the end of next month, left Friday to return to his base of operations at Littleton, Colo. Howard Long, trainer of the Owl Stable, renewed old acquaintances during a brief stopover at Ak-Sar-Ben where he saw the Friday program. He is en route from California to New York. Trainer L. B. Kindle has asked any horsemen who may be in contact with his relative, Charles Kendie to have him get in touch with Kindle at Ak-Sar-Ben immediately. The latter explained that urgency is involved.
