Rookie Tackle Joins Bears The Chicago Bears Saturday signed another rookie, tackle Jim Caldwell of Tennessee A. and I., for the 1953 season. Caldwell, though weighing 249 pounds, reportedly can travel 100 yards in less than 11 seconds. Coach George Hajas said he planned to use the new player on both offense and defense.
