Tomlinson Buys Controlling Interest in Campbell House LEXINGTON, Ky., May 23.— Joe Tomlinson, contractor and sportsman of Oakville, Ontario, has virtually completed negotiations to purchase controlling interest in the Campbell House, suburban hotel here. Tomlinson is well known in racing circles on both sides of the border, maintaining extensive stables in both countries and has recently added materially to his racing and breeding stock. It is understood Ralph Campbell will remain at the hotel as director. Tomlinson, whose thoroughbred interests are managed by James S. Jones of Lexington is also believed to be considering the purchase here of a breeding farm. The sum of 70,000 was said to be involved in the transfer of the hotel control.
