Passmore Two-Time Winner OCEANPORT, N. J., May 23.— The 5,-000 Oceanport Handicap, opening-day feature of Monmouth Parks June 13-August 10 meeting, was won by the combination of General Staff and Jockey Willie Pass-more in 1952. Young Passmore thus became the only rider to win the stakes twice, having tallied previously in 1948 astride Yankee Hill. Polynesian won the inaugural running of the six furlongs event in 1947. Nominations for the series of 18 stakes to be decided during the 50-day summer season are to close June 1.
