DADS DEGREE was placed close up in the early running, and cutting the corner on the stretch turn while the early leaders were racing wide, got to . the front in the last sixteenth to win under urging. NIGHT FIGHTER sprinted to the front early from the inside position but bore out in the stretch and was unable to hold the winner. McCREIGHT was required to race rather wide in the first half mile but went steadily to the end. POSSESS weakened near the finish. SATISFIED was prominent to the stretch while racing on the outside. LITTLE BOOKIE failed to be a serious contender. ADAPTATION dwelt at the start and off many lengths back P of the field, had no chance.
