Stewards Rulings AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., May 22. — The stewards issued the following rulings Friday: "Apprentice jockey Jerry Gal lion is fined 0.00 for misuse of whip while up on Just Judy in the fourth race Tuesday, May 19, and while up on Fido in the fourth race on Wednesday, May 20. "Jockey Johnny Mack Brooks is removed from all mounts today and suspended for 10 days for insubordination to officials." BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 23. — The stewards here today issued the fololwing ruling: "Trainer Al Gordon is fined 0 dollars for failure to have Narrangsett in the paddock for the eighth race, May 22." TORONTO, Ont., May 23— The stewards of the Dufferin Park meeting issued the following rulings: "The seventh race at Dufferin Park on Thursday, May 21, called for non-winners since November 3. The winner Sir Howard having won on November 14 was ineligible and is therefore disqualified from first money, and the purse redistributed as follows: First-Son of Poona; Second — Burning Breeze; Third — Golden Wing; Fourth — No Chance. This ruling in no way effects the wagering on the race. "Owner-trainer H. J. Mezen is fined 5.00 for entering the horse Sir Howard in the seventh race at Dufferin on May 21 for which race the horse was not eligible." WHEELING DOWNS, Wheeling W. Va., May 23. — The following ruling was issued by the stewards here today: "For failing to keep a straight course leaving the gate in the first race this date, on Jimmy Gibbons, apprentice jockey John Gardini is fined 5.00."
