Horses to Watch Horses who impressed Daily Racing Form representatives as being ready to win: LINCOLN FIELDS ♦ AT HAWTHORNE BLACK INVADER— Has been training well since arrival here and might be ready to roll first time out. JAY JAY GEE— Galloped to a 10-length victory in first appearance at this track and might be capable of beating better. MLLE. LORETTE — Is a filly with a good measure of class and ran a courageous race last out. MANCHAC — Seems to have hit winning stride once again and likes this particular strip. Could repeat. FOXY WAGER— Was wide throughout in recent turf race and then finished a bang-up second. LOCK OUT — Made up much ground in the stretch in recent effort and might have won in a few more strides. KILBELIN TRAFFIC — Finished very fast in last and might do at anything over six furlongs and for a ,500 claiming price. FORGOTTEN MISS — Good xuce last out. Came from last place to be third. Seems about ready to get the money. RITE SPEED — Is reported to be in good condition and has a stroke of class. A good chance to win soon. RECLINE — Looked good in finishing second to Gala Fete. Was going strongly in the middle of the track at the end. PICK AND PLAY— Three-year-old that is eligible to maiden race. Finished in front of winners in recent outing. WELCOME GUEST — Maiden who may be better than shown. Last race was not too bad at all. BELMONT PARK ISASMOOTHIE — Closed resolutely inRose-mont Handicap and appears ready to score at next asking. THE PREEM — Slight drop in classification is all required to assure success for this intermediate plater. BLUE GROUSE! — Defeated narrow margin by Always Home in latest engagement and could atone for that setback against similar rivals. HOT — This steeplechaser appeared a trifle short last time and that one may have served as the necessarly tightener. MASTER FUDDLE — Has been prepping splendidly for future engagements as evidenced by recent six furlong trial in l:153/5. handily. LEVEL RIPP2Y— S h i f t y two-year-old maiden has displayed high speed over local course and should graduate in immediate future. NEVERSINK — First race after lengthy absence was impressive. May have needed that one to atatain top form. S T A L K — Better-than-average plater has been close up in recent starts and is ready for winning effort. Best suited against ,000 rivals. TEA-MAKER — Has shown improvement as of late and may find group of sprinters to his liking in near future. HERACLITO — An Argentine importation who appears to becoming acclimated in this sector. Morning trials have been sharp. BLUE GREEN — C losed determinedly in first start of year. Improvement with additional racing is expected. MAINSAIL — Two-year-old filly comes from smartly trained unit and is ready for best effort. Encountered repeated interference in last. RECOVER — Possesses good early speed and may forget to stop/next time if properly rated. KASTER — The manner in which this allowance performer accounted for last start would seem to suggest additional future victories. PIMLICO FOX LAIR — Closed considerably ground in last and rates another chance in similar company. LARRIEWEIL — Carried wide in Back Again engagement and should win if able to make the entries this week. BUSY NOW — Overcame trouble to close much ground while finishing third in last. ALAKATCH-Shuffled back, then forced to take overland route when narrowly beaten in debut. STAG — Sprinted satisfactorily in last and may be stretched out a bit for next engagement. LAURANNE — Two-year-old broke tardily in first appearance and showed enough speed to earn brackets. STONE COLD — Has raced well locally and should find little trouble in beating maidens this week. COUNTRY GOSSIP— Ambitiously placed m Preakness Prep but figures to handle allowance three-year-olds. SWING MATE— Raced well in late stages of seasonal debut and figures to beat ,500 claimers. IRISER — Three-year-old made belated racing debut last week and displayed smart speed with allowance company. SHERWOOD GIRL— Had little chance when pitted ambitiously in last, but effort suggested an early score. EFFORTLESS — Only start suggest this one may be a useful performer. Race may help considerably. ►SOLID TRICK— Plater of the ,500 variety, who experienced considerable bad luck in last start. SUFFOLK DOWNS DR. HAB — Showed good speed in debut to suggest the education gained should be enough to warrant an early graduation. TURNER HILL— Has been six furlongs in 1:1315 to endorse his chances at first asking. MR. COWBOY — This one is doing all asked of him in morning works. A recent five-eighths in :59% was very impressive. SPECIAL NURSE] — Has been freshened up a bit and trials suggest she retains her good speed. FLYING JUS— Has been timed five furlongs in lrOlU to attest to fitness. ACTIVATED — A promising maiden that should not tarry in non-winners ranks. HUNTERS DIANA — A beaten "good thing* that suffered slight interference to account for poor showing. Rates another chance. SWEET SANDY— Last was best turned in by this miss and slight improvement should earn her graduation from maiden TONES TRICIA— Should benefit from lone outing and may be hard to handle in company with good maiden juveniles. DOMQUIL— The manner in which this fellow scored in his last suggests he may prove one of the top sophomore sprinters on the grounds. GARDEN STATE PARK TUNESMITH — Gray veteran is rounding into top form and will have a good chance to take top honors this week. EAST BAY — Has been training well. Could be a surprise over a distance of ground. SUN CROWN — Gave promise of improvement in his race here last week. Probably was a bit short for that effort. ZIPPER — Not much recently to recommend, but last race was good and might prove an upset. MARCH BRAT— Has not had a true opportunity to show his best during the meeting. The right placing and racing luck will bring him home. JACK JR.— Two races here have sharpened him for a top performance at the next asking. MENAWA— Due for a slight drop in company. Might bring winning results. SLAVE GIRL — Encountered considerable trouble in her last race, and may have been the best. Seems well suited to running a distance of ground. SETUBAL — South American-bred gave a sharp display of speed in his debut in this country last week. Reported to have the makings of a "good one". BLUE LABEL II. — Has not yet shown true capabilities at this meeting, but may surprise shortly. MARKED GAME— Has been knocking on the door recently and should be up in time for the laurels his next trip. DETROIT EVER BRIGHT— Fast four-year-old filly in the Henry Forrest Stable belongs with the best. Morning trials have been impressive. TEDDYS HEIR— U seful three -year-old gelding who can handle muddy or dry track and prefers the middle distances. SISTER BIGGER— Better - than - average juvenile miss shipped satifactorily and comes from well-trained stable. MR. DINK— Belongs with ,500 grade platers and goes well at both sprint and middle distances on any type track. MISS BOBBIN — VanBerg mare always gets her share of Michigan purse money. Morning works are on fast side. GOLDEN TREND— Wall Stable star will be a hard horse to whip when sent mile or over and he is razor sharp. COFFEE MONEY — Irish-bred sprinter is a topnotcher and prefers fast track and sprint distances for best effort. MON-PHARO— Reverie Knoll Farm speedster is eligible for the Alger Memorial and will be dangerous if he starts in the stake. BLACK BANTAM— Hard-h i 1 1 i n g four-year-old gelding is one of the more consistent sprinters on the grounds. TOP PRETTY — Monte Preston trains this speedy miss and she raced unusually well in Kentucky this spring. ALIE-ED — G and G Stable three-year-old has shown occasional flashes of class. Eligible to good spot in an overnight event. VIXEN FIXIT— Partial to the local track. She always gives a good effort on wet or dry strip. FAIRMOUNT PARK BIG HOPE — Favors the longer routes and likes the local racing strip. Should annex several sets of brackets before meeting comes to a close. BOUTONNIERE — A very fast sprinter. Recent workouts show ready for best efforts. ZACA DAYS — Very fast over the shorter routes and is at best at five and one-half furlongs. GINGERBREAD— A top sprinter that goes best over the three-quarters distances. Races at Sunshine Park were very impressive. MISS CROSSBOW— One of the better fillies over- the five and one-half furlongs distances. EVIDENCE — A very good all around horse and can go on most any type of racing strip. Likes the middle distances best. EARL JR. — Has good recent morning trials ; since shipping here. Is at home at six furlongs. BEE JAY — A good three-year-old maiden. • Should soon earn first set of brackets. REBOUNDER — A very fast three-year-old. . Appears to favor the six furlongs distance . best. HOLLY Mc — Comes here with a very good [ record at the recent Sunshine Park meeting. Works indicate that she likes the Fairmount racing strip. ONE SWALLOW— A good three -year-old 1 that does best at six furlongs. Can go on 1 most any kind of track. CIRCULATION — Has shown good racing I over the Toledo, Ohio, track and should like the local racing strip. Some morning trials here have been good. beulahTpark ATOMIC MESSAGE — Odds-on choice who was beaten in last, will surely make amends in the near future. Must be in sprints. BIG IKE — Slight drop in class will benefit this Isolater gelding. Has been a consistent performer. MARCIL — Recent three-quarters in 1:18 shows that this one is nearing peak form. May score at first asking. CORSARIO III. — Maiden is receiving special education from the barrier these mornings and will bear watching. FLEETING ROCK — Was far from disgraced in only local showing. May have needed the feel of the track. BLUE GALAHAD — Was forced to utmost in recent route race. Can benefit from lack of speed in the race and go all the way. COMBRAY— Five furlongs work in l:054/5 shows that this performer has the solid advantage of steady training. Bears watching. MON ROYAL— Though still a maiden, this son of Easy Mon — Mint Royal has the blood to belie record. Tab for future. WAVE-A-LU — Showed a trace of late speed in recent sprint which indicates the route may be what is needed. Watch for longer effort. DUSKYS FIRST— Was slightly overmatched last week after showing well in seasonal debut. Will win again when back with own kind. MALLEABLE — Impressive two - year - old winner of his last outing that may repeat with non-winners of two races. Could be a good one. ASCOT~PARfC CROTON BOY— Scored at long odds here last Thursday and figures to come right back with another smart effort. COURAGE ROAD — Showed a good closing lick in most recent effort and should get up in time in his next outing. QUES SON— Flashed some speed in latest race here and may score an upset in the near future. BROWN PAT — Turned in a poor effort here last Thursday, but can be expected to improve soon. CORTINA — Is in rare form at present and should win next race over a distance of ground. BIR ACKEIM — Disappointed in his last race but if given a stronger ride should be right there next time. ORANGE FOX — Had good late foot in most recent effort and if not placed too highly may take it all. VERMONT SON— Turned in a strong race last week and should earn brackets before too long at four and one-half furlongs. LUMS TREASURE — Looked good in his race on Thursday and against a cheap field may have picture snapped. TWO REWARDS — The two - year - old daughter of Eternal War looked good in Ascot debut and could win a baby race before the meeting ends. EVENING HAZE— Closed some ground in her latest effort and she may want to go a distance. PETES PLAYMATE — Was in trouble in last race and if accorded better racing luck may earn brackets. OMAHA BOB STEWART— Two-year-old maiden who should graduate soon. Showed a good effort while on the outside in his debut. TOP VIEW— Good race on off track last out. Should do it soon. DESERT RAID— Will beat much better than beat him. Has class and is rounding to his top form. VORNADO— Winner last out should take another at first asking and can stand a raise in claiming price. DORECTORA— In tight quarters in Omaha debut. Game and ready for best. FETCHANWIN— Was beaten a whisker in initial start here. Next appearance should bring him to the winners circle. MENU — Veteran router who is ready for another successful season. Moved too late last time. Longer distance suits. TAYWIN— Lacked racing room last time out. Prefers a route. BRILLGAL— Up against it in last start. Must deliver with slight drop in class of competition. FASHION HILL— Blew a tough one the other day while displaying winning effort. Next time should be it. SLICK KNIGHT— Sluggish early in previous start, then made up a world of ground. Ready for best. NEBRASKA CASH— Sluggish at the start both outings here, but closed much ground. Next time may be the one.
