Illinois Notes FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville. 111., May 23. A. C. and T. W. Ferguson arrived Friday morning from Churchill Downs with a well balanced stable of five thoroughbreds. Among the contingent are Isitcash, Two Ducks, Boss Jim, Midd Voodoo and King of Siam. The training chores will be handled by T. W. Ferguson. Kenny Robertson, the veteran jockey, arrived from Fort Miami where he rode with good success. Robertson will ride free lance during the current meeting. Jockey Herbie Litzenberger announced via phone call that he would leave Lincoln Fields for the local meeting on Tuesday. Litzenberger was among the leaders at the recent Sportsmans Park meeting and is the brother of the former riding star Eddie. Making his initial appearance as an owner is R. L. Braun, construction man from Chicago. 111. He has Lady Seranata and Cousin Clara performing under his colors. Trainer Benny Goodman is handling the training for the newcomer. Jockey Herbert Litzenberger will handle the riding chores for Brauns stable. Eddie Melancon, of New Orleans, arrived with a strong stable from Lincoln Fields* and will race for the first time under the lights. Heading the stable is Sailors Delite. a consistent performer who scored decisively at Sportsmans Park this spring.
