NIGHT BAKER moved from far back, bumped ATOM AGE sharply near the furlong pole and was disqualified and placed last following an inquiry by the stewards. WORLD SERIES failed to threaten. ATOM AGE was running evenly when knocked off stride by NIGHT BAKER. THE MOOR, dueled for the early advantage and quit. ASSISTANCE was shuffled back leaving the half-mile j grounds.
