DEDUCTIBLE YOU, always within striking distance, came fast when set down for the stretch run and, after disposing of RADIOLA, gamely withstood RELLIE. The latter, never far back, closed with good energy in a sharp effort. RADIOLA was rushed to the front immediately after the start, drifted cut while tiring during the late stages and was unable to hold the top ones. FREE REELING rallied too late to become an endangering factor. AREEVA made up some ground when hard hustled through the final furlong. TEDOREST lacked early speed. LEES UNKNOWN failed to stay. The latter moved up boldly after being straightened for the drive, hung" slighly when punished and was unable to reach the leaders. ROY PRINCE sprinted into a commanding early advantage, drifted out slightly while tiring during the final furlong and was no match for the top pair. GLEANED failed to make up appreciable ground. QUICK TALK lacked the necessary rally. OBERON was unable to keep up. ANUKITA was outrun. MERMAN never threatened. BLUE PLATE was allowed to settle Into best stride, gained a contending position on the final turn and, responding to stern pressure during the stretch run, outgamed TROUT BROOK. The latter reached the lead between calls after disposing of FLEUR DE JOIE midway in the stretch, then held on determinedly in a sharp effort. FLEUR DE JOIE completely dominated the early running, retained a clear lead after completing the next-to-last hurdle, but faltered when challenged. MARSHLAND II. closed a gap. ESCARP had no apparent mishap. SWORDET moved up menacingly entering the stretch, then weakened. SEA DEFENSE was outdistanced early. REWING stumbled and lost his rider at the sixth jump. GRECIAN QUEEN, a sharp factor from the beginning, raced CHERRY FIZZ into defeat to take command on the far turn, continued on jgamely to the furlong marker, then held on determinedly hen challenged. CHERRY FIZZ outsprinted her rivals into the first turn, held sway during the run down the jckstretch, faltered after six furlongs and continued to tire when placed to pressure. MING YELLOW, slow to ittain best stride as usual, failed to rally when called upon for her best effort. BALLERINA never was formidable. HAM BONE held sway to the stretch under hustling tactics, retained a slight lead when set down for the ultimate test, then tired. EVANS MOUNTAIN came out to the middle of the track for the drive, but lacked the necessary rally. STAR OF PERSIA had no excuse. PERFECT POWER was always outrun, as was DONNA BOORSE.
