Hobbs Elected President of Sunshine Park Association SUNSHINE PARK, Oldsmar, Fla., Aug. 26. W. Frank Hobbs, Tampaattorney, was elected president of the Sunshine Park Racing Association at the annual directors meeting held recently in Tampa. The other officers elected were Samuel C. Lombardo and Justin V. OConor, vice-presidents, C. C. "Milo" Vega, Jr., secretary, and John G. Masoni, treasurer. Hobbs is well grounded in the Sunshine Park picture. He served as executive vice-president and general manager during the 1948 season and was instrumental in guiding Sunshine Park through the crucial early years of operation. The 1954 season runs 51 days, January 15 through March 15.
