Packers to Meet Cardinals In Spokane, Wash., Saturday GRAND RAPIDS, Minn., Aug. .26. UP. The Green Bay Packers break up training camp here late today and head for Spokane, Wash., where they will play an exhibition game before heading back for their first showing this season on Wisconsin soil. The Packers, who whipped the New York Giants 31 to 7 at Minneapolis last Saturday in an exhibition, will meet the Chicago Cardinals in Spokane this Saturday. Then its home to Green Bay, for their 1953 home state debut against the Washington . Redskins, September 5.
