Offer 95 Race Horses At Belmont Park Sale Cold Command, Fly Wheel and Card Trick in June 8-9 Vendue BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 13. — A total of 95 race horses, including 39 two-year-olds are included in Pasig-Tipton Companys 30th spring sale of race horses to be held at Belmont Park, June 8 and 9. "Weve sold more horses before but seldom has the quality of the stock been as attractive as that to be offered this year." Humphrey J. Finney, president of Pasig-Tipton Company said today, "and", Finney added, "this sale includes a number of fine fillies from producing families by such sires as Nasrullah, Bimelech, Revoked, Pavot, Challedon, Phalanx, Shut Out, Devil Diver and Priam II. Heading a consignment of nine from William Woodward Jr.s Belair Stud is the stakes winner, Golden Gloves. Also in the Belair group is Navarra, a dark bay colt by Nasrullah — Hypnotic, one of seven two-year-olds in the consignment. Another of Nasrullahs get, Eastern, a three-year-old daughter of Maitresse Roy-ale, will be sold by Wheatley Stable, which is also offering Field Flower, a half sister to Eastern by Pavot. A consignment of nine head from C. V. Whitneys stable includes Cold Command, six-year-old son of War Admiral and the winner of 89,385 through 1954. Also in the Whitney group is Fly Wheel, five-year-old stakes winning son of Mahmoud who had earned 8,755 at the beginning of this season. The sale also includes the dispersal of the racing stock of the late Anthony L. Aste. This group includes Bold Man, gelded son of Bold Irishman. Greentree Stable is represented by a consignment of five including Card Trick, gelded son of Case Ace — Rytina, and four two-year-olds. Among other consignors are: Hal Price Headley, nine; Carolsteve Stable, four; Stanford Stud Farms, four; Maine Chance Farm, five.
