Bassett cited statistics to support the ie adoption of the new scale. Contradictory ry statistics were introduced by Raymond E. E. Pollock, Stuart Bullock and Dan Davies of of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective ve Association. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Commission announced that the new scale .le of riding fees will be adopted at all tracks ks in the state. It provides 2 for a winner er of a 00 purse; 5 for 00 to 00; 7 37 for ,00 and ,100 purse and 0 foor or races with ,000 purses, The plea for an extra or ninth race on n Wednesday was turned down, the commis-ce s- sion deciding to limit nine-race programs as to Saturdays and holidays only. Also so adopted was a rule whereby an apprentice ce rider will be permitted 100 winners instead id of 40 before losing the five-pound allowance. 1-
