LADY CUANTA raced with top flight from beginning, was slightly wide and proved best in a stiff drive. POP-BOTTLE slow to settle in stride, circled her field on final bend and was getting to winner. MOFLAME was never far back moved up strongly to wrest command a furlong away but was not quite good enough. SUKY SUSIE raced slightly wide in an even effort. LOTASMOKE, held under snug restraint to the second turn where he was sent up on the outside and wore down SOLAR CLIPPER in midstretch. UTOPIA, outrun to the final quarter mile where he was eased to the outside for the drive and finished full of run. SHINY PETER found his best stride too late. BANJ0IST dwelt at the start, raced wide while advancing in the late stages and closed a gap. SOLAR CLIPPER gave way suddenly after showing the way to midstretch. BRIAN BORU was through after going three-quarters. CANT 0MAR was used up in vying for the early lead. Scratched— 477994 Demfleet, 105. Overweight— Solar Clipper, 2 pounds. Blen Sand claimed by J. E.
