LORI-JANE, never far back, was taken out slightly jntering the stretch, responded to strong handling during the drive and wore down OIL PAINTING in the last trides. OIL PAINTING raced MARY H. into defeat entering the stretch, settled for the drive with a clear lead ut could not hold the top one. SENOR COATI lacked early foot, saved ground throughout and closed willingly mder urging, but could not reach the leaders. BULL SKIN, away fast, dropped back after the start, and finished airly well under punishment, but could not seriously threaten the top ones. VIXEN FIXIT made a mild bid in he early stretch, then faltered. SUGAR DAD was never dangerous and had no excuse. JAY JAY GEE was :hrough early. MARY H. took an early lead, set the pace to the stretch while engaging OIL PAINTING, then rad nothing left for the drive. MISS REVOKED took command early, gave way to .YNNDIANE approaching the stretch, then came again when set down in the drive and disposed of the latter uring the final furlong. LYNNDIANE, in hand early, saved ground leaving the upper turn, reached the lead tering the stretch, but was unable to hold MISS REVOKED. BABBLE BROOK lacked early foot, then finished hard urging. PEARL DIVER closed fairly well under brisk urging. ERMINE TAIL tired after early speed. KANAWHA tired after racing well to the stretch.
