J., May 13. — Helioscope went through his final paces over the local track this morning before vanning out on Saturday to Suffolk Downs in East Boston, Mass., where he is scheduled to start in the 0,000 added Massachusetts Handicap next Thursday. The star of the William G. Helis, Jr., stable continued to hold his excellent speed and he handily completed a mile over a fast surface in 1:33. The four-year-old Heliopolis colt, win-50 ner of the Valley Forge in his last start, went the first quarter mile in :24, the half in :474/5 and the six furlongs in 1:12%. Trainer Howard Hausner expects to have Helioscope bedded down at Suffolk on Sunday morning and will probably give him his final unlimbering for the mile and a quarter event on Wednesday morning.
