Rices Ring King got up in the final ,i " yards of the featured Balko Purse this is drizzly afternoon to edge Mrs. Chester ■ Lyons favored Penocc a neck with Mrs. s. Dorothy N. Justin Funkhousers Noble Song closed id with a tremendous rush down the middle le of the strip in the sixth race to nip Charles es Coburns front-running favorite Coburns s Wish a thrusting neck at the wire. Noble Song was as always in good position, in the van of the ie second flight, but as they straightened for rr the wire, Coburns Wish appeared alone. Rayson Jett moved to the leader in the ie final furlong and then just before the wire Oliver Cutshaw dropped him to the inside ie of Coburns Wish. But the move failed as Noble Song closed quickest of all and got ot up in the final strides for the tally. Go Girl and Basin Street collaborated In to pay 12.60 in the Daily Double.
