Five ThistleDown Stakes Close for Nominations Today THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, Ohio, June 3.— Nominations for the five stakes, headed by the ,0,000 Ohio Derby, scheduled to be run during the current session, close Saturday at midnight. The stakes closing tomorrow are: The Susan, for two-year-old fillies at five furlongs for an added purse of ,500; the Imp, for fillies and mares three-year-olds and upward at six furlongs for a purse of ,000 added; the Ohio Derby, 0,000 added, for three-year-olds at nine furlongs; the Ohio Endurance, for two-year-olds at six furlongs for ,500, and the ThistleDown Handicap, for three-year-olds and upward at one mile and three-sixteenths for 5,000 added. • The dates for these events are: .The Susan, June 11; the Imp, June 18; the Ohio Derby, June 25; the Ohio Endurance, July 4, and the ThistleDown Handicap, July9. Nomination fees for the Derby and handicap are 5 each and 0 for the other -stakes. All blanks must be postmarked no later than midnight Saturday and sent to Fred Burton, racing secretary, ThistleDown Jockey Club, Cleveland 28, Ohio.
