Kids Romp in Paradise At Rockinghorse Park One of the unique, but very popular features of Rockingham Park at Salem, N. H., is "Rockinghorse Park." This New England area attracts a large number of vacationing families and frequently the youngsters must accompany their parents to the race course. Recognizing the need for a supervised center where the youngsters would be safer and would enjoy themselves more than by strolling around the plant between races, Lou Smiths guiding spirit at Rockingham Park, had Rockinghorse Park constructed at the far end of the grounds. Two highly trained women attendants keep tab on their charges and the track provides ice cream, cake, pony and donkey rides, all without charge to. the parents. As was to be expected, the playground received immediate and enthusiastic reception.
