Victor Lee, Crack English Sprinter, Dies During Race Special to Daily Racing Form KEMPTON PARK, Middlesex, England, June 3 Reuters. — Victor Lee, one of Britains best handicap sprinters, collapsed and died here today while contesting the Windsor Castle Stakes at six furlongs. The six-year-bids trainer, Les Hall, of Winchester, Sussex, visibly grieved by the tragedy, said later: "The horse broke a blood vessel somewhere near the lungs and bled to death. Its a great tragedy for his owner, Arthur Best, and I had been looking forward to taking on the crack sprinter, Pappa Fourway, at Royal Ascot." Victor.
