Shoemaker and Lumm Escape Injuries in Hollywood Spills HOLLYWOOD PARK; Inglewood, Calif., June 3. — Jockeys Willie Shoemaker and Roy Lumm were none the worse for wear following minor falls they suffered in the sixth race here Thursday. Shoemaker was unseated when his mount, Feast, leaped a shadow after crossing the line of finish in front. The field swept past him, but the rider was not touched. Lumm went down when Royal Puzzler fell with him entering the homestretch. He escaped with a few minor bruises.
