Apprentice Lee Breaks Leg PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 6.— Apprentice Tom Lee, 20, under contract to W. G. "Billy" Christmas, broke his right leg Saturday when a horse he was astride lunged into a barn upon returning from the track. According to Christmas, Lee, who has ridden seven winners, is expected to be out of action six to eight weeks.
